Whether you’re gliding solo or paddling in tandem, our calm sea lake offers the perfect setting for a smooth and scenic ride. Navigate at your own pace, take in the salty breeze, and enjoy a unique view of the coast from the water. Bring your own kayak or hire one from us—mini, adult, large, or tandem—we’ve got something for everyone. It’s an easy way to get outdoors, build confidence, and soak up the magic of Mersea Island.

Kayaking Sessions
An all-ages, all-level activity you can enjoy with friends and family
Our Kayaking sessions are a great way to enjoy the water with friends and family—whether you’re paddling solo or teaming up in a tandem.
We’ll provide you with a buoyancy aid—please note you can’t use your own.
You can hire a kayak when booking online or on the day (if we have any left). We’ve got a wide range to suit all sizes and confidence levels
All equipment is included. You’re also welcome to bring your own rigid or inflatable kayak if you prefer.
To skip the queue you must sign a waiver before hand. This can be done before the booking is even completed. This waiver is good for all activities on the park and only needs to be signed once.

Join us for some fun on our 6.5 acre salt water enclosed lake with it only being 1.5m deep it’s the perfect place to enjoy some fun paddling safely
